R.I.P: Henry Hyde

The New York Times reports that one of our nation's true statesmen and believers of freedom for all people across the globe passed away today: Rep. Henry Hyde of Illinois. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hyde many times while serving in my various capacities in Washington and there could not have been a kinder or more gentle soul "in the arena."
